Hi, I’m Melli! I’m a Detroit-based photographer and a 2024 BFA graduate from the College for Creative Studies.
My background is in fine art photography, and I’m really drawn to storytelling—especially the connection between people, nature, and those quiet, meaningful moments that can be easy to miss. I love creating images that feel a little dreamy, a little intentional, and just slightly surreal.
Outside of my conceptual work, I photograph portraits, weddings, and events—and honestly, working with people is my favorite part. I aim to keep things relaxed, fun, and easy so you never feel awkward in front of the camera (even if you think you will).
My goal is always the same: to create photos that feel natural, look beautiful, and actually feel like you.
